My Travels : Dun Laoghaire + Kildare Outlet Village

Hello! Welcome back to Sense Of Beauty! Today's blog post is going to be a little bit different. Yesterday (26.10.14), I went shopping with my mum, little sister and little brother. I thought I would write a post about where I was.

We first drove to Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. We went to the East Pier and it was amazing! So beautiful and overwhelming! You would never think it was in Dublin! When I think of Dublin, I think industrialisation and commercialisation but this was so different!

The sea was a beautiful colour and the weather was lovely! The pier was so clean and tidy. It was gorgeous! Here's a photo of my little brother, little sister and I.

After Dun Laoghaire, we drove 45 mins to the Kildare Outlet Village. We had never been here before but we were eager to have a look around. An outlet is usually designer brands that are either last season or damaged at a discounted price.

Some stores that are in Kildare Outlet Village include; Cath Kidston, Juicy Couture, Nike, Mulberry, Pandora, Superdry, Links, Ted Baker & much more! When we arrived at the Outlet Village, it was packed with people. The Bank Holiday Weekend definitely encouraged people to come out and spend.

The Outlet Village was beautiful. So clean and tidy. It looked like something from America. Every shop we went into was jammed with people. People have definitely began their Christmas shopping! I felt some shops were very claustrophobic but I think a contributor to that was the Bank Holiday Weekend.

I really enjoyed my shopping experience here. I think it would be lovely to shop at around Christmas time when all the Christmas lights are up. My favourite shops had to have been Cath Kidston, Superdry, Ted Baker and Juicy Couture. They also had a Starbucks in the Village so if you got thirsty while shopping you could take a coffee break.

The Outlet Village had shops for both men and women. They had Sport shops; Nike & Basics. Not only did this Village provide fashion and jewellery, it also provided kitchen appliances and equipment. For those that wish to begin their Christmas shopping and want to gift designer items, the Kildare Outlet Village is definitely the place for you. It is only 45 mins away from Dublin so if you didn't find everything you needed, you could drive to Liffey Valley or Dundrum.

I will definitely return to the Kildare Outlet Village. I hope you enjoyed this blog post.
Thanks for stopping by!
Love,
Siobhán xo
