Hello Lovlies! Welcome back to Sense Of Beauty! Today's blogpost will be a Nail Tutorial! Let's get started with the tutorial!! :)
What You'll Need:
-Nail Polish Remover
-Cotton Pads
-Cotton Buds
-Sellotape
-Nail File
-Nail Clippers (if required)
-Nail Polishes
The Nail Polishes I Used:
1. Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat
2. Nail Inc. Nail Polish in Elizabeth Street
3. Rimmel London Brit Manicure Nail Tip Colour in 430 Porcelain
Step One:
Using the nail polish remover and the cotton pads, remove any nail polish from your nails.
Step Two:
Use the nail file to file your nails.
Step Three:
Apply a thin layer of your base coat. I used Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat. It's great because it serves 2 purposes! I forgot to take step-by-step pics of this step, but it's pretty straight forward!
Step Four:
Ensure the base coat is dry. Apply a thin layer of the light pink nail polish. I used a Nails Inc. Nail Polish in Elizabeth Street.
Step Five:
Ensure the pink nail polish is dry. Apply sellotape to your nails. Before applying the sellotape to your nails, place the tape onto your skin and peel it off a few times. This will remove some of the tackiness off the sellotape. Apply the sellotape diagonally onto your nails. It's easier to apply all the pieces of sellotape onto your nails before painting your nails.
Step Six:
Apply the white nail polish to the remainder of the nail (where the sellotape is not placed). I used a Rimmel London Nail Polish in 430 Porcelain.
Step Seven:
Allow the white nail polish to dry. Carefully remove the sellotape.
Step Eight:
Apply a top coat to your nails.
Step Nine:
Using nail polish remover & cotton buds, clean up the edges of the nails.
The Finished Look!!
