Lancome Elite Event | Cara Pharmacy Quayside | March 2016

Hello Lovelies! Welcome back to Sense Of Beauty! I hope you are all having a lovely Saturday! 

On March 25th & 26th, we held a Lancome Elite Event in work. I took pictures during the two days and wanted to post them here for you! 

It was an amazing two days, we were joined by the very talented, Fortunato Benavoli, an elite makeup artist for Lancome! 

The event was on Friday March 25th & Saturday 26th. 

Day One:

Day One began at about 11am. Fortunato, Lauren and myself took complimentary makeup and skincare consultations. We recommended the products we thought best suited your concerns and your skin. 

Throughout the day, there was refreshments and some nibbles. 

In the evening, we held a masterclass. During the masterclass, Fortunato shared his tips and tricks for skincare and application of makeup. 

There was refreshments available during the masterclass too. 

Each person who attended the masterclass, received a little goodie bag. 

The masterclass lasted for about an hour. It was incredible! 

Fortunato was an excellent demonstrator and Olivia his model, looked incredible! 

Any questions that needed to be answered, were answered between half 7 and 8. 

Saturday consisted of consultations from about 9:30-12pm. 

The two days were absolutely incredible! I had an amazing time and learnt some amazing tips and tricks from Fortunato. I think my favourite part of the two days was definitely the complimentary skincare and makeup consultations. I got to speak to customers and share some tips.

Cinnamon, Oat & White Chocolate Cookies | Sense Of Beauty

Hello Lovelies! HAPPY THURSDAY!! It's nearly the weekend YAY! 

My sister Aisling recently baked these AMAZING cookies and recorded the method. Check out the video below to see how to make them!

Ingredient List:

Oats 

Flour

Butter

White Chocolate Chips

Shredded Coconut

Brown Sugar

Cinnamon

2 Eggs

Baking Powder

Vanilla Extract

Frylight Oil

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. 

 2. Beat 2 Eggs

3. Add Milk & Vanilla Extract to eggs

4. Mix Butter & Sugar in a large bowl. 

5. Add Oats to Butter & Sugar mixture. 

6. Add Eggs to the Butter & Sugar mixture. 

7. Add Flour to Butter & Sugar mixture. 

8. Add Shredded Coconut to the Butter & Sugar mixture. 

9. Add Baking Powder & Cinnamon to Butter & Sugar mixture. 

10. Chop up White Chocolate bar into small cubes. 

11. Spray Frylight oil on tray. 

12. Scoop Cookie Mixture onto tray. 

13. Cook in oven until golden brown in colour. 

Aisling estimated the measurements of each of the ingredients too! :P
