Hello Lovelies! Welcome back to Sense Of Beauty! A while ago, myself and the girlies attended the local student races. On the day, I had about 6 makeups to do, including my own! In this blogpost, I will be showing you my outfit, the girls makeup and I have included a 'Get Ready With Us' which includes two of the beautiful girlies!
Hello Lovelies! Welcome back to Sense Of Beauty! Today's blogpost will include a collective haul from over the past few weeks.
If you would like to see the bits and pieces I have purchased, just keep reading! ;)
Let's start off with the bits I picked up in Enniskillen first. I actually vlogged while we went shopping in Enniskilen so if you would like to see that, check out the video below! ;)
Now onto the bits I picked up in Enniskillen;
B & M Bargains
B & M Bargains is definitely one of my favourite shops in Enniskillen. It has literally everything you need; from home décor to food to Christmas decorations. Surprisingly, I didn't go too mad in B & M Bargains and I only picked up these two bits. First, I had a bit of a sweet tooth while shopping, so I picked up this multi-pack of Drumsticks for 84p. I spotted this gorgeous floral project book for 2.99 and I had to get it!
Superdrug
I went a bit mad in Superdrug at the Makeup Revolution stand haha. At the time, Superdrug had a 3 for 2 offer on all makeup products. Makeup Revolution is definitely one of my favourites that is available in the drugstores/pharmacies.
I was never one to enjoy highlighter on my face but lately I have been LOVING the effect that it gives to my face. It has definitely become a step in my everyday makeup routine. I definitely recommend trying a highlighter, especially if you are contouring. I feel like it further accentuates your contour but also lifts your cheekbones. I like to apply highlight to the tops of my cheekbones, my nose and my cupid's bow. This highlighter has a pearl undertone and doesn't have large specs of glitter which is great! This highlighter is in the shade Golden Lights and was £3 too!
I definitely need to expand my blush collection. I only have a few and I feel like I always gravitate towards the same one (the blush from the Pippa Palette!). Makeup Revolution have a great selection of blushers and they are ONLY £1!! This blush is in the shade Love. It is more of a neutral blusher so it would be perfectly matched with all makeup looks.
Another blush to the collection! This one is in the shade Sugar, it was £1 too but this one has more of a pink-rose undertone. I am so impressed with these blushers! For something so cheap and inexpensive, they have great colour pay off/pigmentation.
Contouring is another love of mine! I have only tried to cream contour once before with a dark concealer so I thought I would try out this cream contour stick. It is matte which is perfect for contouring. I haven't tried this yet but I am very excited too! This was £5 and it is in the shade Matt Malibu.
Makeup Revolution are notorious for their excellent palettes and I have heard so much about this contour palette that I had to pick it up! I've been using it for about a week now and I love it! It contains warm and cool toned contours (cool toned contours are my favourite!). This palette was £8.
Looking for a lip colour that is going to last ages? Liquid Lipsticks are definitely for you! They have the same applicator as a lipgloss but they have a matte finish and literally do not budge! I picked up two of the Makeup Revolution Salvtion Velvet Lip Laquers. This one is in the shade Black Heart and was £3.
How amazing is this colour? This is the second Velvet Lip Lacquer and it is in the shade Depravity. I haven't tried these yet, but as soon as I do, I will let you know how I got on!
Stila Liquid Lipsticks are literally heaven in a lip product! So amazing and literally do not budge!! The one I picked up is in the shade Patina and is a beautiful mauve shade! This has become one of my favourite go-to lip products!
Penneys
I didn't go mad in Penneys but I did pick up a few beauty related bits!
I have been trying to pick up this setting spray and I have finally found it!! I found it available in the Sligo Penneys and it was only €2.50! I don't know how well this will perform but I will definitely give it a go!
Penneys have seriously upped their game with their makeup selection and quality! This is my favourite lip liner and I am obsessed with it! It's a gorgeous dark nude and definitely reminds me of the 'Kylie Jenner' lip trend. Another advantage of this amazing lip product? It is ONLY €1.50!!
Kiss eyelashes are super easy to apply and their glue is very good! I picked up the Kiss eyelashes in the style Diva 02, these were €3.50.
This top is so beautiful! My bestie Andrea, was wearing this one day and I thought it looked stunning on her! I went to Penneys during the week and spotted it REDUCED for €5! Great Bargain! :D This top would be beautiful with some black leggings and black combat boots!
Boots
Penneys fake nails are great but I don't like the glue that comes with them. I had a look in Boots and seen this double pack of Broadway glue and decided to pick it up and give it a go! The double pack was €4.49.
I love Khaki green, so a khaki green bandana is perfect! The bandana itself was only a couple of euro! Bandanas are great for tying your hair back but also to use as an accessory. Pia Mia wears bandanas so beautifully!
River Island
I have been eyeing this bag for ages so I decided to purchase it. The bag itself was €43 and is a gorgeous bag! It has two straps; one is longer (more for cross body) and a shorter one which can be worn in the crook of your elbow or your shoulder. It has gorgeous tassel details on the front. I placed this maroon fur keyring on the bag to personalise it.
For the past month, I have been trying to eat healthier and go to the gym as often as possible. When we went to Enniskillen, I wanted to try on a size 6 pair of jeans. I was completely shocked when I could actually pull them up and close the button with ease! I tried on these lift, slim and shape jeans and instantly fell in love with the shape and fit. I needed a good pair of jeans and I found them! These were €64 to buy.
My sister Aisling will be turning 18 in a couple of days and has an 18th birthday party planned for next weekend, we decided to take a trip to Sligo to have a look around the shops to find us some dresses. TK Maxx was our first shop to browse in and although there wasn't much of a selection of going out dresses, I picked up this gem. The dress is a neon coral colour with cream lace. It is a misguided dress, in a size 6 (I'm still gobsmacked I fit into this!!) and it was ONLY €9.99!! What an ABSOLUTE STEAL!!
My sister Aisling, recently took a day trip to Glasgow (yep, you read that right! DAY TRIP haha) with one of her friends. She kindly picked me up some little gifts from Scotland and I thought I would share them with ye!
Aisling picked up this gorgeous notebook for me which has some beautiful illustrations on the cover. She thought it would be great for writing video and blogpost ideas and I will be definitely be using this for that!
Aisling completely spoiled me and picked me up a MAC LIPSTICK!! I know - how nice and generous of her!! I do love my bright lip, so Aisling picked up this GORGEOUS pink lipstick in Flat Out Fabulous! So so beautiful!!
